Cracked glass, a black display, lines across the screen, flickering, or a touchscreen that has stopped responding properly.

Smartphones differ enormously in how they come apart, but the faults people bring us are remarkably consistent: a cracked screen, a battery that no longer lasts, a charging port that has stopped cooperating, or a device that has simply stopped turning on.
We repair phones from all the major manufacturers at our shop on Carr Lane in Hull. If you are not sure whether we cover your handset, it takes thirty seconds to ask — most phones are more repairable than people assume.

The list above covers what comes through the door most often, not a limit on what we will look at. Plenty of handsets outside it are perfectly repairable.
What does vary is parts availability, particularly on older or less common models. Rather than guess, message us with the make and model and we will tell you honestly whether we can source what it needs.
Ask about your deviceQuestions
Very likely. The brands listed are simply the ones we see most. Send us the make and model and we will check parts availability before you make a trip — we would rather tell you upfront than have you come in for nothing.
Often, yes, though parts availability is the deciding factor rather than the repair itself. Screens and batteries for older popular models are usually obtainable; more obscure devices can be harder. Ask and we will find out.
You are welcome to come into the shop at 65 Carr Lane. It is worth calling or messaging first with your model and the fault so we can check we have the part in — it can save you a second trip.
Common repairs on common models are often same-day where the part is in stock. Less usual models, or repairs needing a part ordered in, take longer. We will give you a realistic timescale when we quote.
