What we do

Most of what comes through the door is a phone or tablet that has been dropped, has stopped charging, or has a battery that no longer gets its owner through the day. We repair screens, batteries, charging ports, back glass, cameras, speakers and microphones, buttons, liquid damage and software faults — across iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, iPad and effectively every major manufacturer.

The workshop handles a good deal more than phones and tablets, so if you have something else electrical you would like looked at, it is worth asking rather than assuming.

How we work

A symptom is not a diagnosis. A phone that will not charge might have a blocked port, a failed cable, a worn battery, or a fault on the board — and those are four very different repairs at four very different prices. So the first thing we do is find out which one it actually is, rather than fitting the most expensive part and hoping.

Once we know, you get told what it is, what fixing it involves and what it costs. Nothing starts until you have agreed to it. If we open a device and find something different inside, we come back to you rather than adding it to the bill at the end.

And if the honest answer is that a repair is not worth doing — an older device needing expensive board-level work, say — we will tell you that too. Talking someone out of a repair costs us a job and keeps a customer.

You can call the shop or send a WhatsApp message on 07852 620665. WhatsApp is often quickest, because you can send a photo of the damage — a picture of a cracked screen or a corroded charging port usually gets you a far more useful answer than a description.

We are in Hull city centre at 65 Carr Lane, a short walk from Princes Quay, Ferensway and the Paragon Interchange, so it is easy to drop in on foot if you are in town.
