Cookie Information
A short page, because this site uses very few cookies.
The short version
This website sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. There is nothing to accept or reject, which is why you are not being shown a consent banner.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. Some are essential to make something work — remembering that you are part-way through a form, for instance. Others exist to follow people between sites and build a profile for advertising. This site uses one of the first kind and none of the second.
The cookies this site can set
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Set only when you use the repair enquiry form. It links your form submission to the anti-spam challenge the server issued, so the server can tell a real browser session from an automated script. It holds no personal information. | Until you close your browser |
Under UK law (PECR) a cookie that is strictly necessary for a service the user has asked for does not require consent. Protecting the enquiry form from abuse falls into that category, which is why this one is set without asking.
What this site does not use
- No Google Analytics, or any other analytics platform
- No advertising or remarketing pixels
- No Facebook, Instagram or other social media tracking scripts
- No embedded maps, videos or fonts loaded from third-party servers
- No cross-site tracking of any kind
Fonts are served from this site's own server rather than a font CDN, which is both faster and means no third party learns which pages you visit. The links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram are plain links — nothing is loaded from those services until you choose to follow one.
If that changes
If analytics or any other third-party service is added to this site in future, this page will be updated first, and anything requiring consent will ask for it before it loads — not afterwards.
Managing cookies yourself
Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings. Blocking cookies entirely will stop the enquiry form working, but you can always reach us by calling 07852 620665 or on WhatsApp instead.
