About these terms

These terms cover your use of this website. T-Repairs operates the site from 65 Carr Ln, Hull HU1 3RQ. By using the site you accept these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.

The information on this site

We have written the repair pages to be genuinely useful, but they describe what a symptom may indicate, not what is wrong with your particular device. Two phones with identical symptoms regularly turn out to have different faults. Nothing on this site is a diagnosis, and it should not be treated as one — the only way to know what is wrong with a device is to look at it.

Device names, model numbers and manufacturer names are used to describe the devices we repair. Apple, Samsung, Google and the other manufacturers named on this site are not associated with T-Repairs and do not endorse us. We are an independent repair shop.

Quotes and enquiries

Sending an enquiry through this site does not create a contract, and any figure we give you in reply is an estimate based on what you have described. It is not a fixed quote.

A price is confirmed only once we have the device in front of us and can see what the fault actually is. If the inspection shows something different from what was described, we will tell you and give you a revised price before doing any work. Nothing chargeable happens without your agreement.

Repairs depend on parts being available for your model. We will tell you if a part cannot be sourced.

Repair terms

The terms covering a repair itself — including anything about warranty, turnaround times or payment — are agreed with you directly at the shop when you bring your device in, and are not set out on this website. If you would like to know them before you visit, please call us on 07852 620665 and ask.

Backing up your device

Please back up your device before bringing it in for any repair, here or anywhere else. Most repairs do not affect your data, but a device that has been dropped or exposed to liquid may have more wrong with it than is visible, and some software repairs cannot be done without resetting the device. We will always tell you before starting if a reset is involved.

Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it will always be reachable or entirely free of errors. We may change or update the content at any time.

The text, design and images on this site belong to T-Repairs unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to link to any page. Please do not copy the content for use elsewhere without asking.

Links to other sites

Where we link out — to Google Maps for directions, or to our social media profiles — those sites are run by other people under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to services supplied to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
