Screen Repair
Cracked glass, a black display, lines across the screen, flickering, or a touchscreen that has stopped responding properly.

iPhones are the most common device through our door, which means we see the same handful of faults on them repeatedly: cracked screens, batteries that have run out of useful life, charging ports full of pocket lint, and shattered back glass.
Apple builds them tightly, and some components are paired to the logic board, which places genuine limits on what any independent repairer can do without affecting a feature. We think it is better to explain that upfront than to discover it at handover — so if a repair on your model carries a caveat, we will tell you before starting.

On more recent iPhones, Apple pairs certain components — batteries, screens and cameras among them — to the logic board. A part that has not been paired can trigger a notification in Settings, and on some models it can affect a specific feature such as True Tone or battery health reporting.
None of this stops a repair being a good repair, and for most people it makes no practical difference. But it is your device, so you should hear about it before the work rather than afterwards. Ask us and we will tell you exactly what applies to your model.
Ask about your deviceQuestions
Yes, subject to parts being available for that particular model — newly released handsets can take a little while before parts are readily obtainable. Message us with the model and we will confirm.
It may, depending on the model and the part. Apple pairs some components to the logic board, and a replacement that has not been paired can produce a notice in Settings. It does not stop the phone working. We will tell you before starting whether your model does this.
On most models yes — the Face ID components are transferred across from your original screen. There are exceptions and caveats depending on the model and the nature of any damage, and we will be clear about those before we begin.
If the phone is otherwise sound and still getting updates, usually yes. It is far and away the cheapest way to make an ageing iPhone feel usable again. See our battery replacement page.
Often, but time is the critical factor — corrosion carries on spreading after the device dries. Keep it switched off, do not charge it, and bring it in as soon as you can. See our liquid damage page.
